The Rogue Rhino

We celebrated Easter in Lusaka, Zambia. It was the opening day of their annual camp meeting convention. We saw like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10-10 Sunday school classes. I don't know, I lost count. Most of the classes were outside. We walked around and met people and took photos. I met a friendly rock named Rocco. He is smooth and has a happy face. There are so many kids here! I only went to the first of the three services because I didn't feel well. More than 2,500 people were present. Maybe 3,000. Only 1,500 people fit inside the church. The kids did a program during the morning service. That is the service that Grandpa preached. Dad preached the afternoon service, then he met me and Grandpa at the hotel. I listened to my book this afternoon. I have read all three of the books I brought. Dad had to get a couple more for the iPad. I have the the fourth FableHaven audio book and the fifth FableHaven book for the kindle app. I give those books a thumbs up. I love them.

This morning I woke up and had a text chat with my grandma. She typed so much cool stuff. She sent emoji’s with her own voice! Then Rufaro (Joseph) and Runyararo (Ruth) took me to get a carved rhino and some other cool stuff. We bargained for trillions of Zim dollars. The money only cost us ten U.S. dollars! It was super funny negotiating. I became the Zimbabwean Billion Dolla Boss. Joseph and Ruth then took me to get fro yo and pizza. My fro yo had fantasy grape and cookie dough. I also added strawberry puffs, jelly beans, and marshmallows on top. They also got me a chocolate chip cookie that was as big as my head! Then we went back to the Gumbo’s house to pack for our flight to Zambia. Oh wait, I almost forgot! It took us a couple of tries to find a rhino statue. While we were searching, we saw a…drum roll please…big baby bunny (or B.B.B.). Easter is a big deal here. I kinda liked him. He was pretty funny. When we got back to the house, we ate our pizza, then BAM, I caught up on The Rogue Rhino. I’m sad because today I have to say goodbye to my friends in Zim. I've had tons of fun here. Our flight for Zambia leaves in a few hours.
